There are approximately 600 pieces
in my collection. A lot of Rock and Progressive stuff, including a huge Genesis collection, Marillion, a lot of Camel, Passport, the Yellowjackets, some old 45s, a lot of first pressing picture-cover 45s from the 1980s.
Some odd stuff because it's old and collectible, and several gems worth money, like a Louis Armstrong album with the plastic (opened) still over the cover. A few picture discs and quite a few 12-inch 45's, including U2's Pride, a lot of Genesis and solo Genesis stuff and several by Marillion, including a few picture discs. There's also a very fine Dutch pressing of the Frank Zappa album "Shut Up and Play Your Guitar", a 3-lp boxed set, which I only played once to tape it.
A good amount of the nicer stuff was taped to cassette and only played a few times, so a lot of the collection is very listenable, while some of it is scratchy, as is to be expected with vinyl. The vast majority of the 12-inch 45s were played only once; they are all in near mint condition, as are almost all of the 1st-Edition, picture-cover 45s, with the exception being the older ones, some of which were purchased new.
